Staged Repair and Monitoring of Sub-basin 3

Community Involved: Borough of Oakdale

 

Project Goal: To measure the effectiveness of manhole and sewer line rehabilitation techniques in order to reduce user fees through the reduction of wet weather flows.

 

Project Summary: Assessment and repair to sub-basin 3 to reduce inflow and infiltration, and therefore the excess surcharges the municipality is required to pay for excess sanitary sewage flows. Remediation will include flow monitoring, raising and sealing manholes, relining sewer lines, and assessing the effectiveness of these measures on inflow/infiltration reduction.
