Little Pine Creek Sewershed Pilot Program
Community Involved: Shaler Township
Project Goal: To evaluate a comprehensive approach to infiltration and inflow by addressing both the public sewers and private laterals.
Project Summary: This project will attempt to limit sanitary sewer overflows in this sewershed to two-year/24-hour storms through the reduction of inflow and infiltration. The municipally owned sewer lines will be rehabilitated along with private service laterals using a no-dig chemical grouting technique.
