2019 Municipal Sewer Rate Survey

Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete the 3RWW Municipal Sewer Rate Survey. Please complete this survey by Thursday, February 28, 2019. Read each question carefully before answering it, and note that you must complete the survey in one sitting as it will not save your progress.

We recognize that not all communities bill in the same format, so we have designed this short survey to capture residential sewer rate information in the simplest and quickest way. (Please note: We are not seeking commercial rates at this time.) We will make the rates comparable before publishing them on our website as a reference tool for local municipalities.

An important note: In this survey, we are seeking only your 2019 residential municipal sewer rate information outside of the ALCOSAN sewer rates. We will incorporate ALCOSAN's 2019 rates into each community/authority’s final sewer rate calculation when we publish the 2019 Sewer Rate Study results, so please do NOT include ALCOSAN rates in your answers below.

Municipal Base Rate Charge: If you have a residential municipal base rate for minimum usage charge, include it below.

Ex. On each residential customer bill, Community A charges $13.50 for a minimum usage of 5,000 gallons for that billing cycle. If the customer uses more than 5,000 gallons, an additional rate (usually a $/1,000 gallons) will be applied. The next question asks for that additional rate. (Please do NOT Include ALCOSAN charges.)

Municipal Sewage Rate Charge: What is your residential municipal sewage rate charge per 1,000 gallons?

Ex. Community B uses a rate structure of $7.50/1,000 gallons usage. Please note: If you indicated a base rate/minimum usage charge in the previous question, we will use the rate charge per 1,000 gallons listed here for calculating when a residential customer goes beyond that minimum usage in a billing cycle. (Please do NOT include ALCOSAN charges.)
