Stream Restoration Workshop

3:15 p.m.: Optional stream hike at Fall Run Park to tour a recent stream restoration project

Online registration is now closed.  Walk-in registrations will be accepted on-site. (Please note: lunches are limited, so walk-in registrations are not guaranteed a boxed lunch.)

During the workshop, a team of experts will cover a comprehensive array of topics including:

•  Current stream restoration design practices •  Stream stabilization vs. stream restoration•  Post-construction monitoring  •  Design and construction details and standards •  Identifying potential stream restoration project sites •  Construction cost/estimating consideration•  Case studies including pros and cons of each approach •  Natural channel design  •  Challenges of construction in environmentally sensitive stream environments 

Registration Fee: $45 General  $25 Municipal Employees/Nonprofits

(Includes light breakfast and boxed lunch)

Registration Deadline: June 15, 2018

Who should attend: Municipal representatives, including managers, public works staff, and engineers, and other stormwater professionals

(A certificate will be provided for 5 Educational Hours.)
